Not to start trouble... But I'm a little confused... Lavender Brown was cast as, and in the books is, a young lady of African or West Indian descent. Why is she suddenly recast as a blonde???

Anyone have any ideas? And am I the only one to make this observation? I can't seem to find any other comments on this phemomenon...??!
